Christmas
Today was something called christmas day. Every Christmas day people buy their little puppy girls lots and lots of nice presents - I got lots and lots of chews, squeaky toys, toy monkey and bouncy-bouncy balls. Just so they wouldn't feel left out, people also sent presents to Mum and Dad but theirs weren't as good as mine.

Monkey Mania
Mum and Dad have got me lots of toys. But my very favourites at the moment are my monkeys. I like the sound they make when I squeeze them in the middle and also they have 4 legs and a tail I can hold on to. When it's time for me to go to bed I always take a few monkeys with me and sometimes in the night if I think I need another monkey I go downstairs and get one out of my toybox - or off the sofa - and take it back to bed with me. They also make good little pillows. Mum and Dad think this is very funny.

In Trouble
Now I'm in trouble. I don't like being in trouble. I know I'm not supposed to chew through wires because they could electrocute me but Mum was being very boring and writing on her computer all the time and I had to do something, so I was chewing her hairslide, that I found on the floor, and next to me was Dad's phone charging wire so I chewed through that too. I chewed it into about 10 bits - it was black on the outside but had crunchy gold wire bits inside. Dad wasn't pleased when he came home. I hope he still loves me. Maybe if I give him lots of licks and let him have a chew on one of my chews he'll forgive me.

Crunchy Water
Mum been taking me down the river very early - even before I have my breakfast. I don't mind because I love the river, especially when some of my friends are down there. This morning when we went to the river something very strange had happened.

Usually I try to have a nice drink from the muddy puddles (Dad doesn't really like me doing this because he says rats wee in them but I haven't seen any rats doing wees - in fact I don't know if I've seen a rat - I have seen cats [but not doing wees] they are SCARY!). Anyway this morning when I tried to have a drink the water had gone crunchy and when I scratched at it it was all slippery. I managed to bite off a bit of chewy water. It was very nice. I wonder if there'll be more chewy water tomorrow.

Bang Night
Last night was a night full of banging, it was really really frightening. Dad said it's called bonfire night and people enjoy setting fire to things called fireworks.
Doesn't sound like fun to me - don't know who thought of this bonfire night thing, but it certainly wasn't a dog.

Trick or treat
Tonight I was having fun chewing a nice bone and I kept getting disturbed by knocks at the door. When Mum opened the door there was strange little creatures with pointed heads or green faces. "Trick or treat" they would say and Mum gave them a handful of sweets - I never saw one of them do a trick.
I have to earn my treats by sitting down then standing up then sitting down again (people just can't make their mind up). Not once did I see one of these strange little creatures do anything.
Dad said that "Trick or treat" was something called a threat - if they don't get a treat they will play a nasty trick on us. I didn't like the sound of that, but i did like the idea of doing nothing for a treat.
When I see my friends down by the river I may suggest to them us having our own night - "bark or treat". We could go round houses and bark at the door if they don't give us a treat. I think I would enjoy that a lot.

River
Scotland has lots of lovely places to visit. And I liked my caravan because I could look out of the window and see other dogs on the way to the beach and bark at my friend the Alsation who was in the caravan opposite. I needed to have a long sleep on the way home. Going on holiday and having fun is very tiring.

My First Rosette

I let Mum drive me to the dog show in the sports car. I like the wind rushing through my fur. When we got there Mum told me I had to be very good and she'd brought along some sausages for me to snack on (very nice). We met up with my sister, Frankie, and 2 other dogs called Kizzie and T. I did the best I could in the show ring but it is very exciting and hard to walk round sensibly and let the judge look at your teeth without trying to give him a lick. Anyway, I came third! And was given my first rosette which Mum has hung on the rosette tree next to the rosette Foster got - he came third once too and a pre-puppy school rosette that Emma was given.

Outing

Today, very early in the morning Rory (and Donna) came round and we went off in Donna's car to the East of England Dog Show. It was very exciting. There were lots and lots and lots of dogs there - including both my sisters (Geogia and Keera) and one of my brothers (Mum doesn't know his name). I was very good (as always). Donna showed me in the ring and I stood nicely and let her move my feet and walked around when I was supposed to and let the judge look at my teeth. Mum was very pleased with me. I didn't get a prize this time but my sister, Georgia, did. She's going to go to Crufts. I think I'd like to go to Crufts too. She told me that at Crufts there's even more dogs! (The top photo is me and Rory and the bottom one is of me and Georgia - I'm the one with the colourful lead - Marion's legs are in the background.)

Beauty Parlour

Today I went to Tracey and Sarah's grooming parlour at Happy Dogs. I like going there because they're so nice. They gave me a lovely bath and lots of treats and then they gave me a special good luck card that said they thought I was the best in show. I don't know what they meant but Mum liked the card very much.

Scary Cows

Nicole and me and Barney (and Mum and Gloria) were going for a walk at Danish Camp when these big things, that Mum said were called cows, came racing over their field - they were coming straight for me. I was really frightened and went running off. It was the first time I'd seen a cow and I don't want to see anymore, thankyou.
I got a limp from running so fast and had to have a big lie down on the sofa with Nicole so I could try and forget about it. Nicole says you have to be careful of cows because they can be very tricky.

Doggy Day

We went to somewhere called Willen Lake today for a special Doggy Day. There were lots of dogs there and lots of different dog charities. I met some Hearing Dogs and Guide Dogs and one very old rottweiler who was on the old dogs stall. A lady bought me a frizbee because she said I was so pretty. But the best bit of the day was when I had my first taste of ice cream. It was sooooo delicious.

Canine Partners Fete

Today was a special day. Canine Partners had a fete at Happy Dogs. We had to do a demonstration. I'd never done one before so my very good friend (and step-brother) Freddy gave me some tips on how to make sure my person walked on a loose lead and came when I called them. I showed how I could pick up keys and give them to Mum.
Then I had a go at the fastest recall. I had to jump over two little fences to get to Mum. I ran so fast I could hardly stop in time. They made lots of money at the fete - about £1,500 I think.

Cute Puppy

Today Dad drove me in the sports car to Tracey's grooming parlour at Happy Dogs. Tracey made me look very cute. She clipped my claws and gave me a bath and wrapped me up in warm towels.
I was very good apart from when I tried to fly off the table (I forgot I was high up). On the way to Tracey's some policemen admired me because there was a road block and Dad got stopped. They asked him where he was going and he said he was taking me to the dog beauty parlour and they asked if it was his idea or his wife's - Eric said it was Mum's idea. On the way home the policemen stopped Dad's car again so they could see how pretty I looked. I expect they're now going to take some police dogs to Tracey's so they can look pretty too. When I got home I made myself look even better by rolling in some mud.

Woods
It was such a nice day today that Mum and Dad decided to take me somewhere different, so they took me to a place called "the woods". I think it is called that because there is no much wood there.

It was so nice having a different feeling beneath my paws that I just couldn't stop running - it was so much fun.

Snow again
All that white stuff called snow fell from the sky again. The last time that happened I wasn't a big enough puppy girl to take Mum and Dad exploring. This time, because I've had all my injections, I decided that I'd take Mum and Dad to the river to play in the snow.

Although they seemed to enjoy it, I think perhaps that I enjoyed it more.
I wonder if it snows every week.

Ring Craft
Some of the other puppies had mentioned there was something called 'Ring Craft' - they said dogs got to run up and down and show off their people. Since I am such a nice looking puppy-girl (according to Dad & Mum), it was decided I would take Mum along to a local class so she could learn how to run up and down.

It was so much fun and so interesting. All the other puppies I've seen looked similar too me - but at Ring Craft the puppies were all different shapes and sizes. I like the tiny ones with big ears best because they look so funny)

Puppy Tumble Tots
It's very hard keeping Mum amused. This morning I took her to something called Puppy tumble Tots, she got to drive there while I sat looking out of the window and listening to the radio.
It was very exciting: I had to make Mum run in and out of poles, run outside a tunnel whilst I explored it and jump over little jumps ahead of me.

Afterwards I got to play with the other puppy boys and girls and compare notes about our owners. I told the other puppies that my owners were the best in the world.
Everyone said I was something called a natural and I think they are correct.

Mirror
Mum and Dad have a special window in their bedroom called a mirror. When I've been looking through the mirror, I can see another puppy-girl at the other side. I did bark at her, telling her "go away! I'm in charge here! these people are my servants!", but she was very rude and barked the same thing back.
After a while, Mum had to cover the mirror up,so the rude puppy-girl at the other side would stop barking at me.
I wonder if she'll be there tomorrow.

Emma
It was a sunny today - I wondered why it was called Sunday (hope I don't have to sit down all next Saturday). It was so nice that we went to visit Emma. She lives with a couple named Gareth and Carol, who Dad says are nice people but must be a little confused because they support something called Liverpool. I tried asking Dad what Liverpool was but he was laughing so much about something called three-nil that I couldn't understand him.
Emma told me she spent a lot of time teaching Mum and Dad how to behave - how she taught them to give her little treats when she did good things; In that way people like Mum and Dad find it easier to tell puppy girls like Emma and me what they want us to do and move much quicker from asking boring things like sit to things much more interesting like getting washing or finding car keys.
After Emma had told me all about Mum and Dad, we had a good play.

Big Wide World
I'm getting to be a big puppy girl now. So much so that I'm allowed to go for things called walks. Unfortunately almost as soon as we get where we are going, Mum and Dad decide to bring me straight back - it's not fair! I want to explore.
Mum says it's because I'm only a little puppy girl and they're only allowed to walk me for one minute per week of my age. I don't know what a minute is, but it doesn't seem very long.

Still they give me lots of puppy treats to encourage me to come straight back to them.

Rolls
Mum has got me something new to play with - they're called toilet rolls. They're so much fun to play with: I can roll them down the stairs - I think that's where the roll part of the name comes from, not sure about the toilet though.

I don't think Mum likes playing it as much as me, but once she gets good at it she'll start to enjoy it as much as I do.

Bank Holiday Monday
It's bank holiday Monday today, which means Dad has stayed home from work. I've spent lots and lots of time this weekend playing with him; Hope it has tired him out - I'm certainly tired.

Later today I'm going to meet Jim and Slvia (Mum's mum and dad) - I hope they're nice. Perhaps they'll have lots of puppy chews for me.

Snow
Today when I woke up a lot of a white thing had fallen from the sky; I really didn't want to go out in it because it looked very cold.

Dad explained that it was a think called snow and that I should have a play in it because it doesn't happen very often. Dad was Soooooo right it was so much fun - it's gone now someone took it all away.
I wonder what other coloured things will fall from the sky.

On the news
Today Mum took me to see the people at canine partners puppy class in Bedford. It was a special day at the puppy class because people from the news were coming to talk to them about how they need more people to become puppy parents. Canine partners train little puppies like me to become assistance dogs for disabled people, which can make the world of difference to their life,.
Although I'm not going to be a canine partners dog, I told Mum I wanted to help out and the people at Canine partners said I could be a demo dog for them - I'll learn all the special puppy skills they teach and get to use them to help recruit new puppy parents.
Since I was the cutest little puppy girl there, they asked if I would help the TV presenter introduce the spot on the news. I was a little nervous but I don't think it shows.

Puppy Class
This morning Mum told me I was going to go to puppy class. I was so, so excited - I've never seen any other puppies other than my brothers and sisters.
Mum told me that these were very special puppies - they were all in training to be assistance dogs. I don't know what that means, but some of the dogs told me that it is a very important thing to do.
At class I met Freddy, who had been training Mum and Dad before I got there. He's going to be an assistance dog and looks very handsome in his uniform.

Freddy gave me a few tips which I'm sure will come in handy, but he told me not to post them here because humans aren't supposed to know all a puppies secret tricks :-)

The dogs let me have a go at doing some assistance dog work - it's not as easy as it looks.

Maisie
Today Jack and Eunice Carmel to visit. They brought something with them called a baby. Babies are much smaller than people and they have very interesting toys to play with. This baby's name was Maisie and she liked laughing and kept trying to climb up the stairs but she wasn't allowed to. I'm not allowed to climb up the stairs either - but Mum carries me up. I could climb the stairs by myself easily if they let me. Maybe I should show them what I can do.

Mum's Away
Today Mum was going on a course so me and Dad drove her to the station in Dad's sports car. I got to ride in the front seat all by myself on the way back. I liked it so much I didn't even want to get out when Dad drove me and him back home.
Me and Dad had a very nice time only I forgot to use the special toilet bark area in the garden and had a few accidents in the house while we were watching a special football team called Manchester United playing on the TV. I love watching TV - especially when there's dogs (or football) on.
Last time we watched Manchester United Dad gave me a treat everytime they scored a goal but this time they didn't score any - I think that made Dad really sad.

Ouch place.
Today I went in my special travel dog crate in Mum's car to somewhere called the vets. I was very very good and the vet lady said what a good girl I was. But then she stuck a needle in me which wasn't very nice. It was very ouchy. I had to have some tasty treats and a big cuddle when I got home.

Mum's Birthday
Today was Mum's birthday. She got lots of cards. She especially liked my one because it had my pawprint on it. Dad helped me a little bit by painting my paw but I put it on the card by myself. Mum gave me lots of cuddles. I like cuddles.

Saturday

Mum tells me that today is the first of March. I don't know what that means but hopefully it doesn't mean they are going to make me walk everywhere.
It's also a thing called Saturday which means Dad is not going where he goes on other days - some place called an office and he's going to be home all day to play with me - I'll try not to tire him out.
I've found something I'm really good at - chewing. It's so much fun.
Dad said that later today, when I bored of chewing (like that will ever happen), he'll let me teach him how to give me treats when I sit down. It may take a while but I think he'll get it in the end.

Toys

Mum has given me some nice toys. I like the duck thing very much, particularly when it speaks to me. I don't know what is is saying - it's not like how my brothers and sisters spoke to me and it doesn't sound like Mum and Dad either. Mum says the sound it makes is called a quack; I don't know what that means, but when it makes a quack I need to give it a good shaking and talking to - just so it knows who's the boss.

New home
I've been in my new house for a day now and I like it very much. It was so good of Mum and Dad to give it to me. Because they've been so nice, I think I'll let them live here too. This sofa is so comfy and no other puppies trying to share it!
It's also really nice having no competition for food.

Going out into the big wide world

Today I'm going to be a big girl and venture out into the world all on my own. My brothers and sisters think I'm very brave. I'm going to have a new Mum and Dad - I hope they're nice.
I'll miss my brothers and sisters - Even though I was the smallest, I used to boss them about. Perhaps my new Mum and Dad will let me boss them.
