I've been on holiday in Devon this week - here's Bella and I having a look at the beach.

I particularly like the fact that mostly we have the beach to ourselves.

Strange Dog down by my River

There was a really strange dog down by the river this morning - it was so, so big that it even someone sat on it. It doesn't play with anyone, so why is it down by the river?

Dad made me go on my lead when this horse was about, so it spoilt my fun - I think Bella thought the same too.

Mum and Dad wanted to take some pictures of me for the American publishers who are publishing the book about me. I let Bella be in the photos too.

Weekend at the Seaside :)

This weekend was Mum and Dad's wedding anniversary; Bella and I don't know what that is but apparently it was a good excuse to take us both to the seaside - I love the seaside because it has two things I really like - paddling water and digging sand.



Dad was really good and kept throwing a ball into the sea for me to fetch. He did actually lose my favourite ball with a tugging rope attached to it but because he spent so long throwing my other ball I'll forgive him this time - but be warned Dad, you'll be in trouble the next time you lose one of my toys!



The sea is so much fun because it's so splashy - why can't my river be like that?

What a naughty girl Bella was - she found a dead bird and ran around and around with it for ages - Mum wasn't very happy when she did this.



I think Bella had a good time too



- but she would have had a better time if she had come into the water with me.



For some reason Mum and Dad weren't brave enough to have a paddle either.

Mum and Dad, please take me to the seaside again soon!



Both of us puppy girls had so much fun on the beach that when we got home all we could do was sleep.

Still hard at work with the garden remodelling

I've been working hard remodelling the garden. The grass has now mostly been replaced by mud and three escape tunnels are in the process of being dug.

However I'm particularly proud of my little hill with a hole in it - from there I can see everything that Bella is doing.

Another day at the office

I'm very excited because I'm going to visit a school for special needs children today. Generally Dad has taken me on my public visits but this time Mum is taking me. She seems a bit nervous but I'm sure I can help her along - I think I'll walk her to the school s she's nice and tired when we get there - that way she wont fidget so much.

I've made sure that Dad has put a nice pack of my favourite treats in my special work bag because I know Mum will like giving them to me. I particularly like that fact that Bella wont be coming with me, so I can eat all the treats myself. She even tried to get into my photo this morning.

  Mum's special PAT dogs shirt has lots of muddy paw prints on it now - I don't think she's too pleased.

Tunnel work has resumed

It's been a bit too windy lately for me to work on the escape tunnel but in the last couple of days or so I've managed to restart work. Luckily Bella is helping, so hopefully we can make up for lost time.

Secrecy is the key to tunnel working and unfortunately Bella alerted Mum and Dad to the tunnel under the bush near the gate - she really must stop barking while digging.

I'm watching her closely now to make sure she doesn't give the game away again.
